Word 2007 in win 11

Hi
I am new on here. My laptop just updated from win10 to win 11 & i opened my word 2007 program & got a box pop up with choose how to open - 1. xls 2. open document. which do i choose as i've no idea what its asking as i am really not tech savvy. i just want to access my documents.

Hi,

XLS refers to spreadsheets documents, they should be opened with Excel and not with Word. If you've a text document, selecting Open document is the most appropriate option.
