Is there any dark/ light mode in original WhatsApp application?

Hi,
Yes, WhatsApp has a Dark Mode. To enable it on a Android device, select the 3 dots in the top right and go to Settings > Chats > Theme. Then you can choose to enable or disable the Dark Mode.
If you don't have these options, update WhatsApp to the latest version.
For the iPhone, you must have at least iOS 13 and you will need to enable the Dark Mode from the phone's Settings, in Display & Brightness.
