Did you try deleting your status and recreating it?
If you are trying to upload a video to your WhatsApp status, the maximum duration should not exceed 30 seconds. Check also the format - MP4 is the recommended format for videos. MOV and MKV are also supported. For images, the supported formats are JPG, PNG and GIF.
In addition to the media file format, check its size. If it is too large, try reducing it to be able to upload it - or try uploading another one.
I also invite you to check if your date and time settings are set automatically. An incorrect setting may cause WhatsApp to malfunction.
