Connecting speaker to projector

I'm no super-savvy tech guy but know basics so don't tear me apart with this as I'm sure to some it's a fairly simple solution. But I am trying to successfully connect my Sony Soundbar to my newer BenQ HT3550 projector and just trying to figure out the best and easiest way to go about doing that. I read an article that getting soundbars are not able to produce as good quality of audio like a traditional surround system. Is it true, what are your views?

Hi,

Sound bars offer a very good sound quality, but if you want to enjoy a full sound immersion (Dolby Surround 5.1, DTS...) a surround system is much better.
