Facebook messenger activity log

Hello,

Messenger automatically sorts people by latest interactions (messages, calls,...)

The problem I have is that when I delete the last message in a communication with a person, it only temporarily sorts people from last to first interaction logged by date/time, which is what i want.

But after the app updates or if i relog or if i clear cache, the app automatically sorts people by interactions, even though the message isnt there anymore, So the person on top is the one who i interacted last, even though the last message shown is older (because i deleted the last message) than let's say from another person i interacted with.

Does anyone else have this problem and a solution to this?
