Hello,
I am trying to configure 20 laptops for use by grade 5-8 students. I want to put a bookmark in the Chrome Browser on each laptop, but don't want to do that on 20 machines. I am using a distributed configuration management system, SALT, that allows me to transfer a file to each laptop. Is it possible to modify a Chrome configuration file so that the bookmark appears?
Macintosh / Safari 16.2

I found the answer to my own question. None of the information on the internet is correct for Linux Mint. All of the places I found using Google suggested that on Linux the Bookmarks file is located in ~/.config/google-chrome.
For Linux Mint 21.1 this is not true. The Bookmarks file is located in:
~/.var/app/com.google.Chrome/config/google-chrome/Default
