How do i turn on javascript

Hello,
i need some help trying to find out how and were i can switch on java script from my laptop?
p.s please give me some advise........

also see whether have you have installed java script or not....

I am having the same problem on my Myspace page. Its telling me I have Java Script turned off.... I found this site and followed these directions to fix it
Go to Tools >internet option>security tab>custom level(under security level for this zone) >scroll down to Scrpting>active sciptin :enable

When I did that it already says its enabled? What do I do now and why isn't it working for me?? HELP!!!

I am having troubles too-I cant send a bank statement by e-mail as it says I dont have javascript. I have a Windows Vista Aspire 9420 lap top!

I tried above going to Tools and internet options and get lost
