Cant find messenger

Hello,
i cant seem to uninstall messenger. The location file is not where it should be, and diagnosics cant find it either. any suggestions??? when trying to install a new version, it said an older version is there and wont install. when running the installer, the messenger installer says the live messnger program itself is there and cant install it. any help???

hi the most simple wauy to get ride of the older version is by going in the add/remove an click on remove componnents and untick on the window live messenger and it will remove it and you will be able to install the new one
