I have problems with my mp3 - curropted

Hello,
i have windows xp on my computer
when i try to add music to it, through my computer and real-player
it freezes when i click on removable device L: and dosnt appear
on real-player so i cant format it
and my computer has alot of viruses
so i cant go on an admin account
only on my limited account
so i cant install programmes
how do i format it manually.
