Hye there,
You can install XP to your machine,
Before installation, you will have to change the sata mode on your bios!
Just change to IDE because windows XP won't work on sata mode!
Then insert the Windows Installation disc (Change boot priority in bios: boot from DVD DRIVE)
Then follow the instruction, please note that you will lose all your data because you will need to format the Partition where Vista is installed
