Hello,
The port on the back of my 360 is fried and will not connect my to xbox live. I need to know if I have to buy a wireless adapter now or if I can just hook up my 360 to my computer via USB.  Will internet conection be able to flow freely through a USB connection?

To use networking and internet on the 360 with a fried LAN port, you will have to buy a wireless adapter, you can't hook it up to the internet via USB.
