Wireless connection

Hello,

Am new

My laptop was bought for my 15 birthday but when i received it, it would not connect to the wireless in either my dad or mums house. It notices that the network is there but when i try to connect it detects a "problem" and wont let me continue. Help pls. have acer aspire 5720 and running on vista.

it may be that the you are trying to connect to a secured network.

ask your parent for the passwords.

or post the error message and we will try to find a sloution to your problem.

i just dont think my wireles is turned on or something because it isnt even picking it up this time. don't really know what to do cos need wireless to work soon for planned event. hope you can help.
