Dell 1501 laptop screen is black white dot

Hello,
I have a Dell Inspiron that has a black screen after windows logo..with a white cursor in upper left hand corner of black screen that does not move..just blinks..could use some help.

Dell monitor goes black randomly
Call of duty black ops zombies - Download - Shooters
Lenovo laptop screen goes black randomly - Guide
Black alley tales - Download - Adult games
No signal on monitor but cpu running - Guide
Pokemon black rom - Download - Role playing

hi,

this is a hard disk error.

please check the hard disk and restart the computer.

or it may be that the windows is corrupt, you will need to reinstall the OS.
