Format pen drive

Hello,
Sir,
my 4 gb kingston pendrive is not working. When i connect it to the computer and open it, display a message please insert new disk. I want to format it, but it does not format. please help me

hi,

this is a faulty pendrive.

get it replaced.

or check if you can get the firmware fro the pendrive.
