Sims 3 game

Hello,
I recently bought sims 3 .. and the guy at the shop told me to run the requierment thing , im failing on only 1 requirement .. speed it needs 2.0 ghz .. i have 3.04 ghz .. could i still play sims 3 but .. maybe it would be a little slow or will it jus not work all together ?

hi to ya,
well it will take longer maybe but as soon as you get to the game menu do this:


:click on options
:click on display
:then reduce the game resoltion and if there is shade effect reduce it as well

then return to the game and enjoy my friend.
