Why Sims 3 testingcheatsenabled true won't work. Solved/Closed

Question

Hi,
I have been trying to get my sims 3 cheat to work.
I have checked to see if I am typing in wrong but not.
I have done it on pause, on edit town, on pause on edit town.
The cheat box comes up but then once I type in it just goes away like a normal cheat would.
But then it doesn't work.
Someone please Help!!!!

They changed it in the last update it's now testimgcheatsenabled on (:

Hey Good Afternoon,

Are you typing it in case sensitive like...testingCheatsEnabled true 
                                                                        Pay attention to the C and E.
Open the console by pressing Control + Shift + C. You'll see a blue bar at the top of the game, this is the console. now, type in testingCheatsEnabled true and press Enter to activate the code.

Once you've written it, remember to Shift+Click when you use it. Try it on the mailbos for example. (: You dont have to download anything, I didnt, and it worked for me.

I've been struggling pretty hard with this and it wasn't until I put in the code and then pressed shift then right clicked (using a MacBook) and it worked!!!! I was missing the SHIFT then right click all along. Hope this helped!

Try typing it with a capital T      Testingcheatsenabled true   Thats how I usually do it and it works just fine.

If you've cracked the game, you may update your game to the newest version possible.

You can always just google it.

You may be missing the other part of the command:

Its testingcheatsenabled true

You may have just typed: testingcheatsenabled

Actually, its still the same. I use testingcheatsenabled true still, and it works just fine for me. I have the latest version updated (1.69.36.024017)

It's happening to me too. I've typed it in correctly, I've been playing for years and have come back to sims 3 from sims 4 as there is more to do, however my man is at uni renting a home and I'm trying to get his girlfriend to move in but when I use testing cheats, shift click on the girlfriend the option to move her in isn't there? I can edit her in creat a sim or object delete but no way to control her or move her in. I'm stumped.

i had this problem for over a year! i finally got it working a couple of days ago, make sure you type "testingcheatsenabled on" exactly and it should work, then you can shift click your sim and mailbox ect. to get the extra actions ☺️
