Disc drive

Hello,
When I put a disc in the disc drive, it doesn't recognize it. When I put a DVD in, one that has information on it, it does recognize it. I'm trying to backup information on the hard drive, but it doesn't recognize the disc. Please help.

Try a different brand of blank disk. Many burners are picky about certain brands. Go to the website of the company that manufactured your burner for a list of compatable brand blanks.
