It beeps 3 times and blank screen

Hello,
lately, when i turn on my lab top it comes on and a few seconds later it beeps 3 times and it stays at a blank screen i already took the battery out and back in but it still did the same thing so i don't know what to do or what is wrong?

I'm not a computer guy at all but i just had the same problem, took my computer in, and they tried to tell me it was my firewall... wrong! When i got it back it worked for a while then started to beep 3 times and shut off, wasn't happy. So i started to check things out on my computer and I noticed my side window gadgit that shows my RAM was maxed out. I started to delete some things i didn't use anymore on my computer and hasn't came back since. i went and checked out what the three beeps mean too, it means meomory error, makes since
