Help, wireless card wont connect to my wifi

Hello,
I have a somewhat old laptop i just got, and it has a wireless card. The wireless card finds my at&t router that i use for all my other computers but it wont connect. It says the signals 100%, but it doesnt fully connect to it, it just wont go on the internet. ?? can anyone help? its a Belkin wireless card, and my computer is a windows xp. thanks :)

Dear Sir,

If the Wireless Network is secured, you won't be able to connect,

I will advise you to enter the wep key to your wireless network settings on your pc
