Trouble downloading msn live messenger

Hello,

i've a problem which is having trouble downloading msn live. whenever i click "download" on msn live website, it will bring me to a page that says web page cant be displayed. its annoying. i've tried checking on the msn live requirements but i've everything ready. probably my itchy hands deleted some of the files in add/remove programs like etc msl(something) setup. i kinda forget what the name is but i remembered i removed 3 programs. not sure whether is it my itchy hands that has caused the problem. someone pls help me. i beg of you. i cant stand it anymore without my personal msn live.
