Interlinking 2 switches to as one

Hello, all

I need to solve a network related problem. i have two D-link switch that i want to connect together to function as one switch. how can i go about it. they are both 8 port switches and my systems are more than 8 so i need the two to run a one network office.

i'm assuming they're just bulk standard 8 port dlink switches.

all you need to do is connect the two switches together with a patch lead (network cable)
then connect each of your computers to the remaining ports on the switches. giving you a total of 14 ports for computers to connect to.
