Detection of USB

Hello,
when i connect my usb flash drive (4gb) to my car stereo,sometimes it is detected immidiately while sometimes it is not detected for a long time (10mins),while sometimes it is not detected at all.I have a pioneer 7950 UB stereo.please help.

hm so first fromat ur usb first becoz it is addicted to virurses so ths y n use ur usb again definitely it ll wrk

i tried what u said but now my usb is not detected at all .(earlier it was detected sometimes ).what to do now ?
