Cant connect to Linksys pqge

Hello,

I have tried many things to get connected to linksys page but it wont open. It appears to start to connect but then gives up and doesnt open. I have WRT54 G router. I want to securtiy enable it. I am using it to connect to my HP Media Vault and this works fine.

I have tried resetting the IP address, resetting the router, etc i have got the ip address from ipconfig, and put that in the address etc

hi there,

connect the lan cable from router

to your pc

in browser type 192.168.1.1

enter user name and password

thanks for reply and instructions.
i have already solved the problem by resetting the router - while it is switche on and connected - (which is essential). And then i can access connect the 192.168.1.1 address.
