Hello Sir,
You will need the Windows XP installation disc,
Then download the XP drivers here:
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=2180480&rpn=PSLB8U&modelFilter=L305-S5908&selCategory=3&selFamily=1073768663
Please select Windows XP SP2 depending on the version you have then download the drivers
Save all your important files and data to an external hard drive
Restart your computer, get to the BIOS settings by pressing F1 when the computer starts
Just search for Sata option
set SATA mode to IDE
Then set the Boot priority to CD/DVD Drive
Then save and exit bios
Put in the XP Cd and then follow the instructions
