need another suggestion for function key lock Closed

Hello,
I tried the fn + f11 + scroll lock, but my problem is that my scroll lock "is" a fucntion of the num lk key on my condensed laptop keyboard.  Any suggestions?  I'm still getting numbers when I type they right side of the keyboard unless I continuously hold down the function key.  It's killing me.

I had the same problem. The numlock would turn on as soon as the Windows wallpaper 
would load. 

Open regedit.exe and locate

HKEY_Users\.Default\Control Panel\Keyboard\InitialKeyboardIndicator 

it should = 0 not 2

This works for me, I hope it works for you too.
