How to install windows xp

Hello,
i have hp pavilion dv2000 laptop . i have problem that i cant install windows xp in this laptop. when i boot laptop with window xp cd after some time when it is ready to install the xp then it say the hard disk is not attached with it please check your harddrive. the hard drive is 250 GB . i have already install windows 7 in this laptop but i want to install windows xp .Could you please help me. thanks

Hello Sir,

In order to Install Windows XP on your laptop you just have to disable the SATA native mode on your BIOS,

Access your BIOS and search for SATA Configurations, set it from AHCI to IDE
