HELP! Lost Files!

Hello,
I reformatted my computer [quick] because I got some virus that shutsdown my computer every 5 Minutes!
So I just realized that I lost 1 important file that has name's and phone number's of over 500 PEOPLE for my buisness. So I searched for recovery programs like EAUEUS I found the file name but it was in another file format and it was in another laguage :S So I tried recovering it but I needed the full version. I couldn't find any free programs that could help if you have a soloution please post or a program that could help me.

Running on: Windows XP Pro, Opera [Internet], Service Pack 3

P.S. The file was on EXCEL.
