Transfer photos fron Canon to a Nikon camera Closed

Hello,

I bought this Hama card reader/writer because i want to transfer some of my photos and videos of my Canon camera to my girlfriends Nikon camera.I can transfer the files to my SDHC 2 , but the card shows empty when i inserted it to the Nikon camera.
Can anyone advice me what i do wrong?
Files are jpg. and avi. compatible with both cameras.

hi there,

you need to format it from the camera itself

then transfer files to folder created by camera on memory card
