I do not understand wireless networks
Closed
Okay, so...
I bought a Linksys wireless router and went through the setup, following the CD-ROM to the letter. I named my wireless network, gave it a password, configured the router, everything. My modem says my internet connection is good, all the proper lights on the router are on, and the internet runs through it fine. When I connect my computer to the router via Ethernet, there's no problem. But anytime I try to connect wirelessly, the network I created is not there. Neither my Mac, nor my roommate's PC can find the network I created at all. It's like it's not there. I have no idea what to do, and Linksys Customer Service has been completely unhelpful. Any bright ideas? Am I missing a step?
