how to find and count a word Closed

Hello,
I want to find a word (i.e. Spouse) and count how many of it in one single column (i.e. Column D). Anybody can help me doing the formula? 
it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

to find press ctrl+f

and count words

on the left side at the bottom

double click on words
