FACEBOOK log in problems

Hello,

This all makes interesting reading. Having resisted to have anything to do with Facebook, when I finally succumbed, and it provided me with at least forty 'friends,' I just can't seem to get past the log in - even to get the appropriate page up on screen.

I am hoping that after turning my laptop off and having another go this evening, everything will be all right! Otherwise, I shall update my question.
