Can't sign in to MSN

Hello,

I'm using Microsoft Messenger version 7.0.2 on a MacBook - Mac OS X Version 10.4.11
I have deleted all traces of Messenger & reinstalled it several times now as well... and stll can't sign in!
Login & password are definitely correct....

Has anyone got any suggestion please?

I'm not sure what the problem is but if u keep getting a 80000000 etc message, try un-checking the "Sign me in automatically" and "Remember my password" boxes. If this does not work, simply reinstall. If the problem persists, display the error code and ill get back to you.

Hey...i'm currently facing a problem with my Windows Live Messenger. (newest version) Whenever I try to log in, I get the message 'Signing in to Windows Live Messenger failed because the service is temporaily unavailable. Please try again later.' I've tried unchecking the 'remember password etc' boxes but still it doesn't work.

The error code is 80040154

If possible, could you please explain to me how to fix this problem.

Umm restart yuur computer?
