CAN'T SET UP EMAIL RIGHT !

Hello,
there is something wrong with my email see I am trying to set up a new account because I deleted my last one and I wasn't the one who set it up it was my daughter. but now I seem to be getting it wrong.
First of all I don't unerstand which INCOMING SERVER i should use. my laptop is a windows vista so which one am I suspose to use :
POP3
IMAP
HTTP

and then there's the out going sever ?

please could anyone explain and make it simple I am old I will be very Thankful .
