Mini SD Card not reading - PC asking to forma

Hello,
I have a Blackberry Curve which I use a micro SD card in for photos. When trying to save my photos onto my PC, my PC asks to format the card. I have tons of pics on this card and I'm afraid formatting will delete them all. But I want to be able to save my pics to my PC instead of having them only visible through my phone. HELP!

DO NOT FORMAT THE CARD IT WILL DELETE EVERYTHING ON THE CARD. IF YOU HAVE SD CARD ADAPTER THAT CAME WITH CARD WHEN YOU BOUGHT IT THEN JUST PLACE SD CARD INTO ADAPTER AND INTO YOUR PC.

in my computer
then right click
and make a disk check
