im buying a new cpu comuter with xp system
i want to change my system to win vista home premium
can you help me ?

Dear Sir,

You will need the Windows Vista disc,

Please make sure that your computer will support Vista.

Windows Vista system requirements:

1GB ram
P 4 2.0 GHZ CPU

Hi,

This is simply an upgrade. Make sure the version of XP that you are using is compatible for upgrade.If not then you'll have to install Vista Afresh.

how or where do i find the information to know if a computer that is window xp would be compatible to a window vista

Hi,

Do this insert the original Windows Vista CD and run it in windows xp, then it will prompt you for upgrade and if it proceed from that stage then it's compatible, (if not, then you'll have to install vista afresh.)
