Sound problem in my computer

Hi I have sound problem in my computer when I insert dvd and play song with my dvd the massage show "unsoppert file format" and when I play with windows media player the massage show "window media player cannot play the file because there is problem with your sound device on your computer,it may be use by another program or it may not be functioning properly". so pls hel me from this .
