Can't download "raw" pics

Hello,
I Have a canon rebel xt and have just recently learned how that changing to "raw" setting allows for better pics in certain situations. Here's the only problem: all pics download EXCEPT the ones that were taken under "raw" setting. How do i download these pics? Thank you
