Then tell us your hardware configuration, you can use a soft like Everest.
And what about the software? Most of the time, it works fine when you install Windows, and after a while it becomes "fat" and slow. So if it worked when you started using this computer, it must be software.
Check your stat list
Start > Run > type: msconfig. (don't change what you don't know) but sometimes, many programs start with Windows, and make it very slow. Your hard disk may also be fragmented, and needs to be defragmented.
