Could not contact master server

Hello,
guyz i m having same problem of "could not contact master server"i have turned my firewalls off bt still it is not working...plz help me out

i click on find servers on cs 1.6 then i clicked on internet icon then he said... could not contact master server to retrieve server list.... what can i do?...
