Hello,
I have a doubt..I am using more then 25pc's but all r in work group mode so when i try to share the folder it will directly open the shared folder without any password but i want such a setting that it should prompt for password every time whenever i want to access that shared folder..I saw in that folder options in sharing and security that there is not permission option available..Please help me to solve this problen

The request for setting a password is not clear.Since you are working in a network you have the advantage of creating groups , creating users
(also you can assign them to groups) and to define which users can access specific folder and if yes what they can do (read , write , etc...)
