1 in the dvd drive

2 where the hardrives usaully go.

My question is with does the hardirves use the same plugins as the cd drive dvd drive and the hardrive?
im new at this so can anyone help me please ?

Hard drives are 3.5inch where CD drives are 5.25 inch. You need adapters to bolt them into the larger space.
Floppy drive bays are 3.5 inch and can accept a hard disk.
The limiting factor is with cable ports - either IDE or SATA most motherboards have a maximum of 4 drives.

You can purchase a PCI add-in card to add extra ports for more hard drives.

With all those hard drives you might need a 600 oir 800 watt power supply.

Good Luck with your monster PC

Okay thank you alot. I really like hearing peoples options on things. I am just recently getting into fixing computers and what not. Im in a free class right now thats showing me how. Maybe when I get time in class Ill see if that can be one of my projects.
