Hard drives are 3.5inch where CD drives are 5.25 inch. You need adapters to bolt them into the larger space.
Floppy drive bays are 3.5 inch and can accept a hard disk.
The limiting factor is with cable ports - either IDE or SATA most motherboards have a maximum of 4 drives.
You can purchase a PCI add-in card to add extra ports for more hard drives.
With all those hard drives you might need a 600 oir 800 watt power supply.
Good Luck with your monster PC
