HP Pavilion slim line Monitor problem Closed

Question

Hello,
I have moved office and reconnected the desktop.  My LG monitor now shows a 'power saving mode' message and then goes blank.  The monitor cable is attached as before.  All the connections have been checked and re-checked.  Any help out there?

hi there,

remove the battery and plug adapter directly

then after some minutes lets say 10 minutes 

resit battery and restart laptop or even change the RTc battery (cmos)

this should work

Hi.  Thanks for your reply but you say Laptop when my problem is for a desk top?
