Xls file not opening up properly

Hello,
I have created an xls file with a picture on it and whn I open that file on some other system the file opens up with all the txt on it but the picture does not get displayed. it shows a msg that " data may have been lost"...pls hlp...

I guess if the source of the picture is not on the same computer you might not be able to open it.
