Fn Keyboard with HP Pavilion DV9000 PC

Hello,

I have an HP keyboard included with a Pavilion DV9000 PC package just bought from Best Buy. This keyboard has only one left-side Win key, next to which sits a key with "Fn" printed on the keycap. I have never seen this key before. What is its function?

A pointers to more data on this key would be appreciated.

Fn is the Function key - it is used with the top row of keys to provide extra functions.
