Cpu temperature over heated

I have a problem.....my processor is intel core 2 quad 2.33 Ghz
when i was playing game the cpu temp show 98 deegrees celcius!!!!!!!! (i play gears of war)
is that okay?????

U can play the any Game But keep the computer in pleases getting Air and Remove the Non-Dust cover while using the PC if have.

That is way too hot, you should not be going over 55 under load, idle shoul be around 35-40, you ned to remove heatsink apply artic silver 5 thermal paste, and make sure that heat sink is properly seated or better yet, replace heatsink with a larger one
