Usb requires formating everytime i insert it

Hello,
i have a 2gb transcend pendrive,,whenever i insert it, it asks me to format and then use
so literally i cant transfer files using this usb
please help??
is this is a virus??

Dear Sri Darshan,

Please consider looking if there is any corrupted file in the USB drive

and please try using another USB port when it requires to format the

USB drive. This is how you will confirm from where the problem is

coming.
