Hello, I bought this week a new laptop DV7-3048 and after many times trying to install winxp sp3 instalattion crashed the error is about acpi.sys file. I stream the sata amd driver into a new copy of winxpsp3 and nothing helps. Could somebody help me in this case or sata driver that i used from post http://h30434.www3.hp.com/psg/board/message?board.id=OS&message.id=12874 is old ... ?

PLease help me ?

hi there,

for downgrade on hp laptop go to bios setting and disable sata /native mode

save and exit the setting then boot from xp disk
