Hp laptop problem

Hello,
Can anyone give advice. I got a new laptop and have used it about 2 weeks. the battery died and i left it for about 1 week. after the week, I charged it and when i put it on, the screen came up black.

Call HP advice phone number - it is still under warranty and they can walk you through getting it working again.
