My CD drive wont run auto play

Hello,
i have a dell inpiron 1545. I have been burning blank cds off limewire for months using windows media for months now with no probs. The other day i change a few things around on my Norton 360 setting (cant remember what) and stopped my back-up. I put an identical blank Cd in the drive a few days later to burn a cd form limewire and i could hear it wurling around but then stopped. Autoplay didnt come up as usual. i checked my settings and it is set to automatically ask me ' what i want to do' when a blank CD is inserted. still wont work. It will work if i insert a dvd and play it off my laptop. I have tried to turn my back ups back on just in case it had something to do with this but it says file not find. It cant find the 'F drive'. Please help
