Hello,
I have a pressario V3500 notebook. It comes with vista preloaded. I tried to format the HDD and to load XP. But every time i did it shows "no HDD found" . In te bios it does not show SATA HDD . After formatting through Hiren's boot CD my laptop stops working. Please suggest how to load XP at this stage.

The laptop has a SATA hard drive - Windows XP does not have a driver for the SATA controller. If you do not have a option in the BIOS to suspend SATA support then you can only resolve your problem by "slipstreaming" the required driver Onto a copy of the XP CD. Google "slipstream" for instructions.

Good Luck
